13. RSS! A lot of people don’t know what it is and what it can be used for. Its actually a great way to generate traffic. RSS sends your articles to common databases which can be accessed by other peoples newsreader software. If people like your blog posts they will subscribe to your rss feed.
14. It is very valuable to analyze your blog so you constantly can improve. Which of your articles are most popular? What made it so popular? What are the major sources of traffic to your blog and from what segment of the population? Rinse and repeat!
15. Diligence and intelligence is the key. Post an article or more every day and after 3 months you have a blog with 100 posts. Thats already something. The search engines are being designed to look for quality and quantity now a days. Write from you heart and you will be sure to catch peoples attention. When the traffic is good it is a sign that the quality of your posts are good and then you can start to monetize your site.
